Fly to Singapore, a scintillating city where architectural marvels and enchanting botanical gardens sit side by side, and its flourishing culinary scene always lives up to its reputation. Discover the beautifully lit SuperTrees of Gardens by the Bay, explore the vast Marina Bay Sands resort and sip a Singapore Sling in the famous Raffles Hotel. You’ll then embark Genting Dream for a voyage around the coastal jewels of the Malacca Strait. Settle in for a cruise with an Asian flavour, from the dishes served in its wealth of restaurants to the warmth and hospitality of the ever-attentive staff.

You’ll first stop at Penang, an island off the Malaysian coast whose capital George Town is known for its British colonial architecture. Visit the 18th-century Fort Cornwallis and seek out the ornate Khoo Kongsi temple before sailing to Thailand’s paradise getaway, Phuket. As well as glorious beaches and idyllic bays, there’s the majestic sight of the marble Big Buddha, a local landmark on a hill, from which you can gaze out over the island.

After a day in port in Singapore, you’ll head back along the coast to Port Dickson. Wander along one of the longest beaches, visit an ostrich farm, or head for Malaysia’s glittering capital Kuala Lumpur, just a short road-trip away.

Disembarking Genting Dream in Singapore, you’ll have three nights in the city to soak up the electrifying atmosphere of motor-racing’s pinnacle event, the Grand Prix. It’s one of world’s few street circuits and you’ll be in the heart of the action as the world’s elite drivers compete for pole position. Watch the qualifying rounds to get you in the mood, and you could also attend an event with former British motor-racing legend Martin Brundle if you book a balcony above, while the following day you’ll witness the main event itself. Few sporting events are as exhilarating as the Grand Prix and the atmosphere is enhanced by the stunning waterfront setting of Singapore.
