It’s a desert, a beach, blue surf and big fish along the southern tip of Baja California. Cruise visitors will find that Cabo is exquisite, the shopping divine, and the beaches all shine. Lover's Beach is a great place to see the arch at Land's End, and this is one of the best places on earth to swim with dolphins at their world renowned dolphin centre.

See the colourful shops, street stalls and bars along the main street, and have a drink with the locals at the pier. Relax in the sun with the refreshing snacks and drinks sold by beach vendors. Visit the Mangrove Forest nearby to see crocodiles, herons and red snappers.

Aruba is an island surrounded by beautiful white beaches and glistening waters. The island is alive with Dutch heritage and history. The streets are lined with pastel painted houses in nearby Oranjestad, which also offers boutiques and malls for those wanting to shop. The beaches are stunning and offer amazing diving and snorkelling opportunities. The famous Natural Bridge can be found on the windward side of the island.

The city prides itself on being the ‘Venice of America’ with more than 300 miles of navigable waterways. Fort Lauderdale boasts world-class theatres, museums, sightseeing and shopping. The city sits only 24 miles north of Miami, so you can enjoy the sights of South Beach or head further inland to the amazing Everglades and experience the airboat rides skimming the surface of the water.

In Bermuda you can laze on pink sand beaches, take in the pastel-coloured houses and the famous Bermuda shorts. Stroll through the gardens filled with tropical blooms, shop in the King’s Wharf or stop for afternoon tea and cricket – a true island tradition. The Catalan capital is one of Spain’s favourite cities. There is no doubt you'll learn the meaning of la dolce vita (the sweet life) when you visit Rome.

Under the shadow of Vesuvius, Naples is best known for its cache of medieval and Baroque architecture, and as the birthplace of the pizza. With Pompeii on its doorstep, a labyrinthine World Heritage-listed historic centre, and as many churches as Rome, there's a lot to see in this city on the Bay of Naples. Sip a glass of Lacryma Christi wine from the slopes of Vesuvius or shop for a handcrafted nativity scene on Via San Gregorio Armeno.
